Y'know, it's kind of funny what will make you happy. Some days it's a beautiful sunrise. Some days all you need is a big pile of chocolate. Some days... it's a new hat.
I know I probably shouldn't have. But Mia wanted to go to the mall, and when we dropped by Icings, I just had to try the hats. And there was one that was just screaming, "Mira, take me home!" I tried to resist. I put it back and went to look at jewelry for Mia's date. But I kept looking back.
Finally I sighed, checked how much cash I had, and plucked it back off the shelf.
Who knew the lovely thing would be half off? Hooray for sales!
